This is a poem written by a Gemma Hayes who has Downs Syndrome and her friend Sam Jackson

Autumn Days

Leaves falling on the ground
Mixing like a carpet of
Red, gold, yellow and brown.

Trees like golden giants
Taking off their coats
And dropping them
On the ground.

Children shuffle through the leaves
Like trains on a track.
We're having a lovely time,
Now autumn's back.
